The latest Israeli air raid on the Gaza strip has caused a lot of damage and a lot of outrage. Killing 9 people including top Hamas military commander Ahmed al-Jaabari, and an 11 month old baby, the controversial move by Israeli's intelligence agency was planned in an attemp to severely damage the Hamas control chain of operation. al-Jaabari was a well known senior Hamas operative, responsible for executing terrorist attacks, according to the Israelis.

The Gaza attack comes after tension started to build in the last few weeks after increased Hamas opposition towards Israel. And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah warned today that this is the beginning, not the end. Thousands of Palestinians have rallied in protest, gathering on the West Bank and blocking roads into major West Bank cities including Bethelem, Jericho, and Ramallah.
