In honour of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday, I thought a few Irish blessings might be appropiate. Write them down, take them with you, or toast your green beer with them, its all about the Irish this weekend!

May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night, and the road downhill all the way to your door.

Here's to a sweetheart, a bottle, and a friend. The first beautiful, the second full, the last ever faithful.

May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the happiest day of your past. 

God is good, but never dance in a small boat.

May you live to be a hundred years, with 1 extra year to repent.

As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction.

May you be in heaven a half an hour before the devil knows your dead.
